Where to Celebrate the Fourth of July in Tampa Bay

Here are just a few of our favorite places to find fireworks and festivities on the Fourth!

Clearwater Threshers Independence Day Celebration

Date: Sat., June 29 and Wed., July 3, 6:30 p.m.

Location: BayCare Ballpark, Clearwater

Celebrate Independence Day with the Clearwater Threshers. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. games. Stay after the games for the largest Threshers postgame fireworks display of the season.

 

Boom by the Bay

Date: Thurs., July 4, 4-10 p.m.

Location: Julian B. Lane Waterfront Park, Downtown Tampa

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is taking over Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park on July 4th for a family-friendly event featuring food trucks, a free concert, face painting, bounce houses, corn hole, a pickleball tournament, apple pie bake-off, fireworks and more! The fireworks finale will take place at dusk.

 

Fourth of July Boat Parade

Date: Thurs., July 4, 4-9:30 p.m.

Location: Riverwalk, Downtown Tampa

Friends of the Riverwalk will celebrate July 4th with an array of events, including a boat parade, water ski show, Blessing of the Fleet and a fireworks display. These festivities, part of the Star Spangled Banner celebrations, will take place at Sparkman Wharf (615 Channelside Dr).

 

Independence Day Parade and Celebration

Date: Thurs., July 4 starting at 10 a.m.

Location: Waterfront Park, Safety Harbor

Put on your red, white and blue and head to Main Street in Safety Harbor at 10 a.m. for a patriotic Independence Day parade hosted by the American Legion Post 238. Return at 5 p.m. for an Independence Day Celebration topped off with a fireworks display at 9 p.m.

 

The Fourth St. Pete at the Pier

Date: Thurs., July 4, 4-9:30 p.m.

Location: St. Pete Pier

This family-friendly festival will include food trucks, local vendors and live entertainment. The traditional Fourth of July fireworks show, sponsored by the City of St. Pete, will be visible from the downtown waterfront, including Bayshore Dr, Straub Park, and Vinoy Park. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m
