As the temperatures start to cool, it’s the perfect time to check out our local farmers markets. Not only will you find everything from fresh, locally sourced produce to handcrafted jewelry, but you will also support local artists, farmers and vendors. Plus, it’s a fun way to get out and explore different corners of the city. Below are just a few of our favorite local markets. Local markets will occasionally shift their hours/location so it is always best to check with the venue before heading out.
Westchase Locale Market
Location: Westchase Town Center
Dates: Second Saturday of the month
Hours: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Westchase residents can take a short drive (or walk or bike ride) to this monthly market, which kicked off for the season in September. Shop for plants, clothing, handcrafted jewelry, pet supplies, baked goods and more while enjoying live music.
Sweetwater Sunday Market (seasonal)
Location: Sweetwater Farm, 6942 West Comanche Ave., Tampa
Dates: Every Sunday, Oct. 27-May 18
Hours: noon-3 p.m.
Enjoy live music, family-friendly activities, and fresh air while shopping from local vendors and the Sweetwater Farm Stand. Freshly picked produce and artisanal goods every Sunday!
Corey Avenue Sunday Market
Location: 300-398 Corey Ave., St. Pete Beach
Dates: Sundays
Hours: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
This St. Pete-based market is now year-round and features local vendors selling a wide variety of items including produce, plants, take home foods, eco-friendly and fair-trade products, and more.
Dunedin Downtown Market
Location: Pioneer Park, Downtown Dunedin
Dates: Fridays and Saturdays
Hours: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Fresh Market at Wiregrass
Location: Wiregrass Shopping Center, corner of State Road 56 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, Wesley Chapel
Dates: First and third Saturdays of the month
Hours: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
This market features over 40 vendors selling everything from locally made candles and rum cakes to dog treats and fresh fruit.
Carrollwood Market
Location: Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Rd., Tampa
Dates: Second Saturday of each month
Hours: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
This Market supports 70-100 vendors and caters to the greater North Tampa Area including Carrollwood, Northdale, Town and Country, Westchase and Lutz.
Seminole Heights Sunday Market
Location: Seminole Heights United Methodist Church, 6111 N. Central Ave., Tampa
Dates: Second Sunday of each month, October through May
Hours: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Ybor City Saturday Market
Location: Centennial Park, Ybor City
Dates: Saturdays
Hours: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Operating since 2000, the Ybor City Saturday Market is the largest continually operating outdoor market in Tampa Bay. It offers a unique opportunity for customers to meet the artist, see one-of-a-kind pieces created in the artist’s booth, and purchase locally produced gourmet foods.
Sunset Market at Midtown
Location: Midtown Commons area of Tampa

Second Sunday Art Walk + Vendor Fair

Water Street Sunday Market
